Lumbar radiculopathy is a disorder that mostly affects the working-age population. In this case report, we discuss a male patient affected by lumbar radiculopathy and neuropathic pain of the L5 root which prevented him from returning to work. After obtaining information from the patient on the nature of the symptoms, we suggested conservative management with the goal to achieve pain control, centralize symptoms and improve functioning, also through patient self-management at home.
