A series of dynamics that promote a good quality of interaction are described. In order to enhance the development of a good therapeutic relationship, the patient’s involvement in defining the therapeutic goals is encouraged. Finally, the article looks at the importance of knowing how to “be” with the patient and sustains the use of a supervisory approach.
