Like any sport, basketball has a specific performance model, both from a physiological and a biomechanical point of view. The lower limbs represent the most frequently affected part of the body, in first place the ankle joint, followed by the knee, and more specifically injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Through an analysis of the literature, we have elaborated and recommend here some working proposals for the prevention of specific injuries for basketball players. They are based on the association of physical exercise with technology, through the use and implementation of biofeedback. The focus is on improving awareness, technique, and the specific motor task required.
