Cervicogenic dizziness is an aspecific symptom, distinct from true vertigo, whose manifestation is attributed to a variety of theoretical causes and organ pathologies, in some cases potentially serious. For this reason, as well as for the lack of specific validated tests, the differential diagnosis and the cause of cervicogenic dizziness are difficult to establish and very often require collaboration with other specialists in order to exclude a series of non-musculoskeletal problems before one can consider the etiology as being of a cervical origin. This article presents a clinical case in which, in line with the current evidence-based treatment recommendations, the patient underwent a cycle of physiokinesitherapy to resolve the deficit of deep flexor muscle mobility and resistance and to correct, by means of manual therapy, the cervicogenic dizziness.
