In cases where ulnar nerve compression can benefit from a conservative treatment, the physiotherapist can make use of therapeutic education, with information to the patient and counseling, stretching exercises and mobility of the muscles involved and of the elbow joint, infiltration of corticosteroid drugs (manu medica), and use of nocturnal splints. Conservative treatment is based on the principle of increasing the sliding mobility of the nerve within its interfaces and normalizing the muscle tone of the ulnar flexor of the carpus and forearm flexor muscles if they are altered.
