The aim of the article is to evaluate statistical data in the published literature concerning the entrapment of the ulnar nerve at the elbow, and specifically concerning the use of nocturnal splints. A survey showed that rigid nocturnal orthoses, when combined with a modification of activities, appear to be beneficial, well tolerated by the patient, and a durable treatment modality for the management of cubital tunnel syndrome.
