The European Foot & Ankle Society (EFAS) set up in 2013 a special committee to develop, validate, and publish a new assessment scale, the EFAS Score, for use in different European countries. The EFAS Score is reliable and validated in the Italian language. It is not a specific questionnaire for a single pathology and for this reason it can be used for various problems of the foot and ankle district. It is used to verify the presence of painful symptoms and disability when performing sports activities.
