Anterior ankle impingement is a common clinical condition characterized by chronic pain in the anterior area of the ankle, exacerbated by dorsiflexion movements. Conservative treatments include rest, modification of footwear, use of braces and therapeutic exercise aimed at stabilizing the ankle joint and the joint capsule. Exercises for selective reinforcement of the peroneal muscles are included in the rehabilitation program in order to stabilize the lateral part, and proprioceptive exercises in general are prescribed to stimulate motor control: in this article, three exercises are proposed.
