Glenohumeral arthritis is an uncommon degenerative disorder of the shoulder that mostly affects older people. In this case report, we discuss a woman with shoulder pain and symptomatic osteoarthritis which affected her autonomy in activities of daily living. After informing the patient about the likely bad evolution of symptoms and worsening of her situation, we recommended conservative treatment aimed at pain control and improving ROM and arm function through the use of passive techniques and active exercises to perform at home (patient self-management).
