This article discusses manual and myofascial therapy associated with temporomandibular disorders (TMD). The incidence of such issues is very high, suffice it to say that temporomandibular joint disorders are considered the second leading cause of musculoskeletal pain in the world. To better understand the role of manual therapy, it is essential to evaluate and understand how it can be administered and how to apply it to patients with different clinical situations and different states of responsiveness. Once these concepts have been learned, the various techniques recognized in the literature are carried out, divided into articular and myofascial.
