The clinical assessment of cervicogenic headache is the prerogative of specialized healthcare personnel, as indicated by the International Headache Society. But even specialists for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders find little information in the scientific literature to draw on as regards the validity and accuracy of the various manual procedures for diagnosing cervicogenic headache. In fact, to date it is still not possible to recommend any test or test cluster as valid for formulating a diagnosis of cervicogenic headache.
