Cervicogenic headache is defined as a pain in the head caused by a disorder of the cervical spine structures usually accompanied by pain. Among the different treatment approaches, therapeutic exercise plays a fundamental role. The weakness of the muscles that regulate the stability and posture of the head causes a functional overload of the superficial muscles which are forced to remain in tension to counteract the anteposition of the head; but they lack the strength to be effective, so inducing the development of cervicogenic pain. This article presents three exercises for self-treatment.
