In spite of the often-favourable outcome, lateral epicondylalgia causes considerable problems in biopsychosocial terms: a wide range of potential therapeutic solutions exist. However, in some cases, in order to evaluate the prognostic data, it is useful to identify the factors that could potentially predict refractoriness to the various non-operative strategies.
