The Neck Pain and Disability Scale (NPDS-I) is used by the clinicians to determine assess the cervical pain and the disability related to it. The NPDS-I is a region-specific measurement questionnaire which has been, is reliable and validated in the Italian language and whose reliability has been demonstrated. The questionnaire consists in of three subscales named respectively: neck dysfunction related to general activities; neck pain and cognitive-behavioural aspects; neck dysfunction related to activities of the cervical spine. The total score ranges from 0 ("no disability") to 100 that indicates a ("maximum disability").
