An anterior cruciate ligament tear is a lesion that mostly affects younger people who practice sport. In this case report, we discuss the case of a young man with an acute anterior cruciate ligament tear waiting for surgery who came to us for pre-surgery rehabilitation. After patient information about the purpose of pre-surgery rehabilitation, we suggested treatment aimed at controlling the pain and swelling, and improving passive movement and muscular strength.
