Whiplash Associated Disorders (WAD) are a multifactorial problem resulting from road injury or any traumatic event of sudden acceleration-deceleration affecting the cervical spine. This article presents the clinical case of a man who suffered a recent whiplash injury. After informing the patient about the nature of his pain, a rehabilitation approach aimed at pain control and restoration of active and passive mobility was proposed using manual therapy and exercises, as well through home self-management to be performed over the long term.
