Lumbosciatalia is a medical condition that has a significant social and economic impact. It affects people worldwide, requiring them to undergo long-term pharmacological and rehabilitative treatments. This can result in the loss of workdays and cause significant psycho-socio- economic harm. Currently, Oxygen Ozone Therapy is acknowledged as a valid medical treatment for treating spinal disc diseases. Furthermore, it has been common to employ methods such as creams and lotions to alleviate painful presentations, particularly those stemming from musculoskeletal sources.
The study is to assess the efficacy of a treatment using massage lotion containing peptides (sh-polypeptide-6 and sh-oligopeptide-1), hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, jojoba oil, karite butter, and aloe. This treatment will be combined with a rehabilitative exercise routine and Oxygen Ozone Lumbar Therapy.
The treatment for lumbosciatica has consistently maintained a reduction in pain and improvement in overall motor performance of the patient throughout the entire course. None of the proposed treatments have exhibited significant complications. The use of the proposed lotion did not result in any adverse reactions or skin allergies. The addition of massage therapy using a lotion containing peptides (sh-polypeptide-6 and sh-oligopeptide- 1), hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, jojoba oil, shea butter, and aloe has proven to be effective in accelerating the patient’s rehabilitation process. This treatment reduces muscular pain sensations and improves the overall outcome of the rehabilitation program.
