The knee joint supports the body load and allows the functional gait. From an anatomical point of view this joint is robust but the overuse or mechanical stress can lead to injuries particularly for ligaments (40% of prevalence).
The medial collateral and the anterior cruciate ligaments are the most affected structures. Therefore, a specific, rationale and functional rehabilitation becomes essential.
