RCRSP is a term used to refer to painful conditions of the shoulder during elevation and extrotation movements. This article presents the clinical case of a man with recent pain and inability to elevate the upper extremity. After informing the patient about the nature of his symptoms and after an initial pharmacological referral, a rehabilitation approach aimed at pain control and restoration of active mobility was proposed using therapeutic exercise as the main strategy, as well as setting up a home self-management program to be performed over the long term.
