The Shoulder Disability Questionnaire is validated in the Italian language. The questionnaire consists of 22 items that explore the patient’s symptoms associated with shoulder pain, present in the last 24 hours, and concerning the patient’s life in the psycho-physical aspect and social life. The total score is obtained by summing the positive items and ranges from 0 to 22. The higher the score, the greater the patient’s degree of disability. It takes about 2 to 3 minutes to complete.
