This article presents a case report of a child affected by spastic tetraplegia, a form infantile cerebral palsy (ICP), consequent to prenatal causes. The family requested for the child assisted therapy with the horse, in the search for a cure for the consequences of ICP. In this case, their request coincided with the child’s own physiological need to experience a pleasant and enjoyable activity.
