Carpal tunnel syndrome is the most frequent entrapment neuropathy and it affects the median nerve. Different studies have compared the different therapies available for a conservative management.
In this article, an experimental manual therapy protocol involving a global patient approach was tested. Assessment scales (DASH, VAS, Boston Questionnaire) and instrumental surveys (ENG and manometer) were administered before and after the treatment cycle. The results seem to show that the experimental conservative treatment proposed is an effective method to improve the clinical and functional condition of the patient.
