Hip osteoarthritis is one of the most common articular diseases in the world. In this case report, we discuss a woman who underwent a total hip replacement and who subsequently reported pain and functional limitation during walking, possibly due to impaired posture and motor control post-surgery. After informing the patient that there was probably a good prognosis, we suggested a rehabilitation program to reduce the pain and improve load distribution across the lower limbs with specific therapeutic exercises to perform at home and gait training.
