The role of cognitive biases is receiving increasing attention in clinical practice, as they are responsible for a large part of diagnostic errors. The article, after highlighting the role of bias in clinical decision-making, it lists possible sources of bias, suggesting some strategies to mitigate cognitive bias to reduce the possibility of error in clinical decision making.
