The aim of this article was to assess the statistical data reported in the literature regarding the role of joint mobilization techniques in primary adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder. There was no evidence found to support or refute a clinical superiority of any one type of technique over another, nor is there enough evidence to determine what is the ideal dose of the different techniques of joint mobilization used.
