The clinical-anamnestic evaluation of a patient with urinary incontinence allows, if well conducted, to obtain detailed information about the type of incontinence and its severity. Clinical evaluation, which begins with inspection of the perineum followed by palpation, allows a treatment plan tailored to the patient’s needs to be formulated.
