This article examines the existing literature on whiplash and associated disorders: the importance of reducing fear of pain and catastrophizing and of the need for effective interventions to promote the reduction of this emotion emerges. It is now clear that the reduction of negative psychological aspects after whiplash is associated with clinical improvement and a reduction of symptoms: it is necessary, therefore, to combine in a targeted multimodal treatment intensive therapeutic education and specific exercises at the cervical tract level.
